The week comes with heat: high likelihood of wind and dust

Following the background of pleasant temperatures observed over the past weekend, starting from Monday the air temperature across the territory of Uzbekistan will begin to rise gradually, UzHydromet reports. During the workweek, the weather will be above normal, and the day-by-day strengthening trend will persist.

During the days, daily maximums on thermometers will be recorded around +36…+39°C, and in the southern and desert areas there is a likelihood of warming up to +40°C. During this period, the sky across the republic will be slightly cloudy, and predominantly dry weather is expected.

In the north and desert areas, in some places the wind speed may strengthen to 13–18 m/s. In certain points, the likelihood of dusty conditions will also persist, therefore caution is advised for road traffic and during prolonged stays outdoors.

In the city of Tashkent, the weather will be clear and sunny. The wind is expected from the east at around 3–8 m/s. The temperature will rise to +36…+39°C during the day, and at night will be around +21…+24°C. In short, the hot-weather phase has begun — it is advisable to observe a proper water regimen and avoid direct sun exposure during the hottest hours of the day.
