The National Statistics Committee has published the latest data on foreign tourists who visited Uzbekistan during the period of January–July 2025. According to the information, a total of 6 million 300 thousand foreign citizens visited our country for tourism purposes during this period.
The most noteworthy aspect is that nearly half of the tourists coming to Uzbekistan are between the ages of 31 and 55. According to specific figures, the number of visitors in this category amounted to 3 million 196 thousand 729 people. This shows that our country is an interesting and attractive destination especially for middle-aged tourists.
The age-based distribution is as follows:
-
Tourists aged 0–18 — 849,947 people;
-
Aged 19–30 — 1,030,286 people;
-
Aged 31–55 — 3,196,729 people;
-
Aged 56 and above — 1,242,157 people.
According to analysts, people aged 31–55 are usually financially independent, live active lifestyles, and belong to a group interested in historical and cultural sites, as well as wellness tourism opportunities.
Such a large influx contributes to further increasing the country’s tourism potential, developing infrastructure, and meeting the needs of tourists of different age groups.
It is expected that creating more convenience for tourists in various regions of Uzbekistan, launching new routes, and improving service quality will further increase the tourist flow. These figures once again confirm the growing interest in our country.
