Leaders changed at 4 pedagogical universities - who was appointed to which position?

Significant leadership changes have taken place in the higher education system. According to relevant resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, new rectors have been appointed at four pedagogical universities in the country. These appointments are considered an important step toward improving education, introducing innovative approaches, and training qualified personnel.

The newly appointed leaders are:

  • Maqsudjon Abdullaevich Yuldoshev has been appointed as the rector of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. Prior to this, he headed the Department for Training and Professional Development of Pedagogical Staff at the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.
  • Ulugbek Nighmatovich Toshkenboev has been appointed as the acting director of the Tashkent branch of the “A.I. Herzen Russian State Pedagogical University”. Previously, he worked as an advisor to the Minister of Preschool and School Education.
  • Mash’al Samadovich Saidov has been appointed as the rector of Shahrisabz State Pedagogical Institute. He previously served as the head of the Department of Management and Marketing at Alfraganus University.
  • Sherzod Rahmonovich Uroqov has been appointed as the rector of the newly established Kattakurgan State Pedagogical Institute. Before this, he was the director of the Kattakurgan branch of Samarkand State University.

These appointments aim to enhance the quality of teacher education and implement modern management practices.
