Today, in our country, the main events dedicated to the great and blessed day — Independence Day — will take place. The celebrations will begin with the participation of our head of state, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at symbolic places of great importance in the history of our Motherland.
First of all, our President, according to tradition, will visit the Alley of Remembrance of the Victims of Repressions, honor the memory of the victims of the totalitarian regime, and express deep respect for their memory. In addition, a ceremony of laying a wreath at the foot of the Independence Monument, built in the “New Uzbekistan” park, will also be held. This has a special meaning as a symbol of respect for the past and confidence in the future.
In the second half of the day, the festive events will continue on an even larger scale. In particular, in the evening the main celebration dedicated to the 34th anniversary of our country’s independence will take place. It is expected that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will address our people with sincere congratulatory words and congratulate all compatriots on the great holiday.
These ceremonies, undoubtedly, will not only awaken a high spiritual uplift in our people but also serve to further preserve the values of independence and to widely reveal its essence. Today will certainly remain another bright page in the history of our Motherland.
