In all general education schools in Tashkent, special surveillance cameras will be installed in 10th and 11th grade classrooms. This will make it possible to effectively monitor the attendance of senior students, their interest in subjects, and the quality of education.
At the same time, the gradual introduction of the “Smart School” electronic system in schools is planned. Through this program, the level of student participation in classes, the quality of education, and the psychological state of students will be determined using artificial intelligence. In addition, it will be possible to obtain information about students’ interest in subjects and teachers’ pedagogical skills.
According to the decision of the city mayor, this initiative will be implemented to improve the quality of education in senior classes and strengthen student attendance. Cameras will be installed at the expense of the local budgets of each district.
It should be noted that earlier, as an experiment, the “Smart School” program was introduced in 250 classrooms of 31 general education schools in the Olmazor district. As a result of the trial, this system showed high efficiency in monitoring the educational process, recording attendance, and analyzing students’ interest in subjects.
According to officials, if this project is implemented in all schools in Tashkent, it will be an important step towards improving the quality of the educational process. In addition, it will help strengthen student discipline and further increase their interest in gaining knowledge.
