Uzbekistan’s special forces will take part in the “Infinite Brotherhood” military drills scheduled for September in Azerbaijan. This was reported by Kursiv.media.
The exercises will also involve troops from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Qatar, and Pakistan. According to Azerbaijan’s Chief of General Staff Kerim Valiyev, the country plans to hold around 30 military exercises this year.
Global Firepower ranking places Azerbaijan’s army at 60th in 2025, with 126,400 active personnel, over 300 tanks, and about 80 aircraft.
Uzbekistan is ranked 58th, with defense spending of $2.8 billion and an active military force of 48,000 personnel.
