In Bukhara, a number of important events are being held in honor of the 34th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence. In this regard, 37 employees of the region’s internal affairs bodies were given new apartments in modern five-story buildings. Undoubtedly, this event will be remembered as a great historical moment in the lives of the employees and their families.
The solemn ceremony was attended by employees of the internal affairs system, their relatives, local activists, and members of the public. According to the acting head of the regional DIA press service, Ulugbek Shukurlayev, such state initiatives are a high recognition of the employees’ work.
At the event, the head of the Bukhara regional DIA, Ikromjon Tursunov, also delivered a speech about the ongoing reforms in the internal affairs bodies and the improvement of the system in accordance with modern requirements. According to him, strengthening the material-technical base, enhancing the social protection of employees, and creating decent living conditions for them occupy an important place in government policy.
It should be noted that in 2018, 371 prevention inspectors in the region were provided with private housing and cars through preferential loans. In 2019, another 30 internal affairs employees were able to move into multi-story buildings. Such practical measures have been consistently continued every year and have become an important factor in improving the living standards of employees.
During the ceremony, one of the employees, Zarina Jo‘rayeva, who received the keys to an apartment, expressed her gratitude. She stated that she and her family had long been living in a rented house, which caused various difficulties. Now, she is confident that the new, modern apartment will bring great comfort to their lives. The presence of a general education school and a preschool institution around the new houses has further increased this convenience.
