Land allocated for new international airport in Tashkent

The plan for the construction of a new international airport in the Tashkent region is becoming increasingly clear within the framework of current programs. According to information released by the regional Cadastral Department, a large area of land will be officially allocated.

According to the information, a total of 1,309.76 hectares of land are being allocated for the construction of the airport. It is noted that these lands were taken mainly from the Urtachirchik and Kuyichirchik districts.

The composition of the allocated area was also announced in detail. Including from the total area:

  • 1075.45 hectares of irrigated land,
  • 112.69 hectares of garden plots,
  • 0.65 hectares of pastures and hayfields,
  • 120.97 hectares are considered other types of land.

790.76 hectares will be allocated from the territory of the Urtachirchik district alone. Including:

  • 609.95 hectares of irrigated land,
  • 112.63 hectares of orchards,
  • 0.65 hectares of pastures and hayfields,
  • 67.53 hectares were allocated as other lands.

In the Kuyichirchik district, 519 hectares of land have been allocated for the project. Its composition is as follows:

  • 465.5 hectares of irrigated land,
  • 0.06 hectares of orchard,
  • 53.44 hectares of other types of land.
