Today's International Day of Charity is sharing kindness and generosity

Every year, September 5 is widely celebrated worldwide as International Charity Day. This date was not chosen without reason: it was on this day that the great man who dedicated his life to helping the poor and needy - Mother Teresa - passed away. He dedicated his entire life to alleviating the pain and hardships on humanity's face, giving hope to millions of people.

Mother Teresa was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. His work went down in history with his invaluable contributions to the fight against poverty, the spread of goodness, and compassion for people. His idea that "We cannot do great good for everyone, but we can show great love through small things" has become a motto worldwide.

The main goal of International Charity Day is to strengthen a sense of social responsibility in society, support charitable activities, and unite everyone to find solutions to problems related to poverty, hunger, lack of education, and health worldwide.

Today, the concept of charity is not limited to material assistance. A person can donate their time, knowledge, experience, and even love. For example, gifting a book to a young child, lightening the burden of an elderly person, or feeding a homeless animal - all of these are considered true virtues.
