A separate "Zulfiya" award will be introduced for the medical field

A new proposal is being discussed in Uzbekistan to encourage women and support their activity in various fields. According to the draft presidential decree, a separate state award named after Zulfiya may now be established in the field of medicine.

These changes are planned to be introduced into Presidential Decree No. UP-2326. It is also envisaged that talented women aged 14 to 30 who have achieved special success in the field of medicine, conducted scientific research, or made a worthy contribution to the public will be awarded this prize.

Candidates for the award are required to submit official documents confirming their work in medicine, scientific articles, patents, or achievements in public activities over the past three years.

According to experts, this initiative will further mobilize girls working in the medical field. This will serve not only to demonstrate their personal potential, but also to strengthen scientific and practical developments in the country's healthcare system.

At the same time, the Committee for Family and Women has been tasked with preparing and submitting to the Government within three months proposals for amendments and additions to the legislation.

It should be noted that if the "Zulfiya" award has been awarded for many years to talented girls working in the fields of education, art, and the social sphere, then the inclusion of the medical sphere in this category will further expand the activity of women.
