Youth in Tashkent will receive a subsidy of up to 2 BHM per month

Up to 2 BHM subsidies per month will be given to youth in Tashkent

By government decision, the Regulation on the procedure for granting subsidies to partially cover the costs of youth learning foreign languages in training centers was approved, UzNews.uz reported.

According to the regulation, the "2+6" program will be implemented—under which, young people who have at least a basic certificate in a foreign language pay for the first 2 months at their own expense.

After that, if studies are continued, a state subsidy will be allocated for the next 6 months. These funds will be provided from the State Youth Policy Support Fund under the Youth Affairs Agency.

The amount of the monthly subsidy is set as follows:

• In Tashkent city — up to 2 BHM;

• In regional centers and the Republic of Karakalpakstan — up to 1.5 BHM;

• In districts — up to 1 BHM.

The Youth Affairs Agency stated that during 2025–2026, subsidies will be granted to 20,000 young people. In addition, each year until 2031, state support will be provided to another 20,000 participants annually. If the limit is exceeded during the year, subsidy payments will be suspended until the following year.

Subsidies are granted to training centers that are operating and registered on the rating platform, as well as connected to a system for tracking attendance at online lessons.
