A large-scale tourist project will be implemented on the Kamchik Pass, which passes through the territory of the Namangan region. It is planned to build a modern cable car and a recreation area on the pass.
The project was developed by the world-famous Austrian group Doppelmayr/Garaventa and covers a total area of 90 hectares. The construction work will be financed by the head of the "Aisha Group" company, Jobirkhon Kamalitdinov.
Work is scheduled to begin in July 2025.
In addition, a new tourist zone will be created along the Naryn River. Sports facilities, swimming pools, recreation areas, and camping areas are planned to be built here.
The goal of the project is to increase the tourism potential of the region and develop domestic and foreign tourism.
