Starting November 12, 2025, new tariffs for hot water and centralized heating services will be introduced in Tashkent.
By decision of the city khokim, the following tariffs have been approved for the population, budget organizations, and other direct consumers:
Base tariff: 711,641 soums/Gcal (excluding VAT);
For the population: 139,860 soums/Gcal (excluding VAT);
For budget organizations: 925,797 soums/Gcal (excluding VAT);
For other consumers: 342,296 soums/Gcal (excluding VAT).
According to new calculations, 1 cubic meter of hot water for residents of the capital will cost 8,928.7 soums with VAT. If a meter is not installed in the apartment, the monthly payment per person is set at 34,868.9 soums.
And for heating, according to the new tariff, a fee of 241.4 soums (including VAT) will be charged for each heated square meter.
Veolia Energy Tashkent reported that residents of the capital do not pay the full cost of thermal energy - about 80% of the costs are covered by subsidies from the local budget. This mechanism will serve to reduce the payment burden on the population and maintain social stability.
