Reports circulating on social media alleging that electricity payments will not be made from October 30th to November 5th are false.
Earlier, some channels reported that "due to the transition of the RES payment system to a new program, it will be impossible to make payments or reconnect electricity for 7 days."
According to it, consumers will not be able to pay for electricity until November 6, and debtors will be left without electricity.
However, Regional Electric Networks called this information completely unfounded:
"Currently, the company is not transitioning to any new accounting system," the official statement said.
According to company representatives, the electricity payment system is functioning normally, and consumers can carry out all transactions on an ongoing basis.
Also, "Regional Electric Networks" asked citizens to believe only information published in official sources and not to spread unconfirmed messages on social networks.
