The Uzbekistan Railways national company has provided information on the procedure for refunding electronic tickets for high-speed “Afrosiyob” train passengers. In case of trip cancellation, the funds paid for the electronic ticket will be refunded to the bank card used for payment.
The funds may be refunded within 3 to 15 business days. According to the company, when purchasing a ticket, the passenger agrees to the terms of the public offer.
This offer specifies the refund procedure in detail and clearly indicates the amount of compensation based on the timing of the trip cancellation. Ticket sales for “Afrosiyob” trains begin 60 days before the departure date.
Railway employees recommend that passengers plan their trips in advance, especially for periods considered peak seasons for domestic tourism, such as autumn. As a reminder, within the framework of the "Tourism Month for Pensioners" covering November in Uzbekistan, women over 55 and men over 60 are eligible for a 20% discount on train tickets (except for Afrosiyob).
