At an official meeting in Washington, Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented two gifts to US President Donald Trump, the newspaper reports.
During the negotiations in the White House, a small gold-colored model of the Registan complex appeared on the table. This gift was presented as a symbolic gift, representing the historical heritage and national values of Uzbekistan.
President Mirziyoyev also presented Trump with the book "The Art of the Deal," published in 1987. This work is Donald Trump's first book co-authored with journalist Tony Schwartz, which reflects Trump's business experience and life philosophy.
Trump called this book one of his favorite works and described it as "my most important book after the Bible."
The meeting of the two leaders took place in a spirit of symbolic gifts, cultural respect, and mutual respect. The Registan model presented by Uzbekistan is interpreted as a symbol of historical closeness and cooperation between the two countries.
