The Central Bank conducted a monitoring in September–October regarding the procedure for publishing information on the official websites of commercial banks and announced the results.
During the inspection, 18 banks were found to have violated the requirements of the Law “On the State Language” and failed to provide complete and transparent information. Each of them was fined 102 million soums.
According to the data, some banks did not post information in the state language on their official websites and did not include details about the procedure for the gradual release of collateral used as credit security.
Violations were found on the official web pages of the following banks: Agrobank, Anor Bank, Hayot Bank, Universal Bank, Garant Bank, Asakabank, Turonbank, Infinbank, Microcreditbank, Trustbank, Madad Invest Bank, Saderat Bank, Orient Finans Bank, Ipoteka Bank, Tenge Bank, Ziraat Bank Uzbekistan, AVO Bank, and Open Bank.
The Central Bank once again reminded commercial banks of the need to strictly comply with legal requirements and ensure the completeness and transparency of information provided to the public.
