In Ohangaron, in November 2025, a man who entered a shop caused bodily injury to a female shop assistant. According to the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent region, the 33-year-old man injured the 35-year-old woman due to a conflict between them. A criminal case for intentionally causing minor bodily harm was initiated.
It is reported that the man has been a member of the Hunting Society since 2021; his hunting weapon was confiscated and his hunting license revoked.
Some details in the official information are incorrect. The man lives in the city of Angren, not in the Kuksaroy neighborhood of Ohangaron, and according to the victim, they were not married.
The Ohangaron district internal affairs department initiated the criminal case 20 days after the incident. By the decision of the Ohangaron district court on November 14, 2025, the man was placed under pre-trial detention.
