Starting next year, a number of modern conveniences will be introduced for foreign tourists arriving in the country. According to the decree signed by the President on November 20, beginning from July 1, 2026, when tourists cross the border, their data will be integrated based on their consent, and a special tourist electronic SIM card will be automatically provided. At the same time, the temporary registration of guests will also be carried out proactively.
Through the new national tourism platform and its mobile application, a number of broad opportunities will open. Now all types of transportation will be connected into a single system, and tourists will be able to choose the most optimal route and gain the opportunity to book tickets online.
In addition, a unified ticket system will be launched, intended for purchasing electronic tickets for museums, cultural heritage sites, and recreation areas. A digital guide system will begin operating, allowing the provision of information about tourist sites through interactive maps, audio and video assistants, as well as online broadcasts.
Tourist fees will be automatically transferred to the Fund by accommodation facilities through a billing system. At the same time, the process of renting out country houses by the population will also be simplified and formalized in the “Soliq” application in the “together with me” format.
By the end of 2026, an artificial intelligence platform integrated with the “Safe City” system will be introduced, which will analyze tourist flows, their interests, and movements. Through this, individual routes, dynamic offers, and price formation will be managed more conveniently.
In conclusion, the new digital systems are expected to open a new stage in Uzbekistan’s tourism.
