From now on, citizens who have exposed environmental violations will receive financial incentives. Based on appeals sent by the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change through the "Ekonazorat" system and "@ecogovuzbot," 15% of the fine will be awarded to the author as a reward.
This was announced by the chairman of the committee, the head of the Special Commission, Aziz Abdukhakimov. He called on citizens to be active and emphasized that each camera should become a tool for environmental protection.
"Identify the violation and receive your reward. We are together in the struggle for a peaceful life and clean air," Abduhakimov said in his address. The new system is expected to encourage the population not to be indifferent to environmental problems.
