Why was the new Bank's license revoked, and what about the depositors?

By the decision of the Central Bank dated January 15, the banking license of JSC "Yangi Bank" was revoked. The regulator cited the fact that the bank did not bring the authorized capital to the established minimum and did not comply with some legislative requirements.

The bank's activities were terminated in the prescribed manner, and a liquidation commission was appointed. For depositors: Of the 32,526 depositors, 31,153 will receive full repayment of state-guaranteed deposits. The remaining 373 depositors can withdraw more than 200 million soums in the manner prescribed by law.
