Uzbeks were advised to postpone travel abroad until the situation stabilizes

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan recommended that citizens temporarily postpone planned pilgrimage, commercial, leisure, and other foreign trips to the Middle East until the situation stabilizes.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, due to increased tension in the region and temporary restrictions on the use of airspace imposed by some countries, changes in international flights may be observed. This may lead to cancellation or delay of flights, closure of transit routes, and other organizational difficulties.

"In this regard, citizens are advised to temporarily postpone pilgrimage, commercial, recreational and other foreign routes to the Middle East until the situation stabilizes, in order to ensure security and protect their legitimate interests," the message says.

Citizens of Uzbekistan abroad are also advised to be cautious and vigilant about the situation, not to go to crowded places, to strictly follow local laws and regulations, and to maintain constant contact with the diplomatic missions and consular offices of Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also requested regular monitoring of news published in official sources when planning trips abroad.
