Gas supply in Karakalpakstan and Khorezm has been extended until March 15

In the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region, the base standard for natural gas for the heating season has been extended until March 15, 2026, the Ministry of Energy reported.

According to Uzhydromet forecasts, low temperatures are expected in these areas during the first 15 days of March. Therefore, a corresponding decision was made to support the population.

According to the information, on the instructions of the president, the Cabinet of Ministers extended the basic norm of 500 cubic meters for the heating season specifically for Karakalpakstan and Khorezm.

Thus, this norm will remain in effect in these two regions until March 15, 2026.
