Due to weather conditions, the term of the basic gas rate has been extended in all regions

The base standard for natural gas for the winter heating season has been extended throughout the republic until March 15, 2026. The Ministry of Energy provided official information about this.

According to the ministry, the decision was made based on updated weather forecasts. Measures to support the population are being strengthened due to the persisting risk of cold air currents entering various regions of the country.

According to the official report, the basic norm of 500 cubic meters for the heating season is now valid in all regions and will be maintained until March 15.

Weather conditions will also be taken into account in the period after March 15. It was noted that if necessary, additional measures can be taken.

It should be recalled that earlier the extension of the basic norm was established only for the Republic of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm region. Now this procedure has been extended to all regions of the republic.
