Super-contract system may be abolished in medical universities

Important news is expected regarding the reform of the admission system in medical higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. Specifically, it is proposed to completely abolish the super-contract system for medical fields starting from the next academic year. This change is expected to provide significant relief for applicants and their parents.
A new order is also planned for the educational process. According to it, a 6-year study system in a 5+1 format will be implemented for the "general medicine" direction. This will serve to further strengthen students' practical skills.
Furthermore, new requirements for passing scores in state exams are being set. Now, the minimum passing score for medical specialties is set at 70%, and 60% for mid-level medical staff. These measures are aimed at improving the quality of medical education and training highly qualified personnel.
