IQAir provides information about the air quality in Tashkent today

On March 14, it was reported that the air quality in the city of Tashkent had reached a level dangerous to health, and it is necessary to pay attention to the population.

According to real-time data from the IQAir platform, at 10:00 local time, the air quality index (AQI) in Tashkent was 151 and falls into the "Unhealthy" - harmful category. The main pollutant was PM2.5, the concentration of which was 55.5 μg/m3. This is 11.1 times higher than the annual recommended indicator of the World Health Organization.

According to IQAir recommendations, residents should limit outdoor physical activity, close windows, wear masks outside, and use air purification equipment indoors.

According to Uzhydromet, atmospheric air monitoring in Uzbekistan is carried out through 66 stationary posts and 23 automatic stations in 26 cities. Observations are conducted three times a day - at 07:00, 13:00, and 19:00 local time.
