Uzbekistan celebrates Ramadan Eid on March 20

Ramadan Eid in Uzbekistan is expected to be celebrated on Friday, March 20. The information was mentioned in a notice from the Ministry of Justice explaining how many days people will have off during the upcoming holidays. An official presidential decision on the holiday is expected to be announced soon.
For employees who work a five-day week, the holiday period will last four days. March 20 will be the Eid holiday, March 21 will be Navruz, March 22 will be a regular Sunday, and March 23 will be observed as a transferred day off.
Workers on a six-day schedule will have three days off, on March 20, March 21 and March 22. For them, Monday, March 23, will remain a working day.
