Ramadan Eid is celebrated on March 20

Uzbekistan will officially celebrate Ramadan Eid on March 20 under a presidential decree. The document sets out plans to hold the holiday across the country in a festive atmosphere, with events reflecting the nation’s traditions and customs.
According to the decree, celebrations in the regions will be organized in harmony with the Navruz national holiday. Authorities are expected to support cultural, educational and charitable activities during the праздничные days in order to strengthen kindness, solidarity and tolerance among the population.
The decision highlights the government’s intention to make the holiday not only a time of celebration, but also an occasion for community support and social unity. Special attention will be given to events that promote mutual care and preserve long-standing national values.
