In connection with the ongoing improvement works in the Yunusabad district of the city of Tashkent, from March 23 to April 7, 2026, the territory of Amir Temur Avenue will be temporarily closed along its entire perimeter, the city administration reported.
Restrictions apply only to the square located at the boundaries of Makhtumkuli, Istiqbol, Sayilgoh streets and Amir Temur and Mustaqillik avenues. During the work, it is planned to repair and partially update the pavement of pedestrian walkways, modernize engineering communications and the irrigation system, as well as landscape the territory.
Existing trees in the area will not be damaged. Additional planting of seedlings and landscaping work will be intensified. Traffic and the possibility of parking on the roadside will be maintained in the usual manner. During the specified period, exits to the metro stations leading to the alley area will also be temporarily closed.
