Streets in Tashkent to be temporarily closed for Eid prayers

Tomorrow, May 27, Eid prayers are expected to be held in 119 mosques across Tashkent. This was announced by the press service of the Tashkent City Traffic Safety Department.

It is noted that in order to conduct Eid prayers in an orderly and high-quality manner, ensure public safety, and create comfortable conditions for citizens, vehicle traffic on a number of capital streets will be temporarily restricted from 24:00 on May 26 to 08:00 on May 27.

These restrictions will apply to major roads around large mosques located in the Mirzo Ulugbek, Bektemir, Almazar, Shaykhontohur, Chilanzar, Uchtepa, Yunusabad, Yakkasaray, Sergeli, Yashnabad, and Mirabad districts.

In particular, roads around the "Turabuva", "Khotan", "Alibek", "Islamabad", "Hazrati Imam", "Dustjonboy", "Shaykh Zayniddin", "Khoja Alambardar", "Kuk Ota", "Ubay ibn Ka'b", "Shaykh Muhammad Sadiq Muhammad Yusuf", "Novza", "Abdullah ibn Mas'ud", "Hazrati Ali", "Minor", "Mirzo Yusuf", "Usman bin Ma'zun", "Nurul Islam", "Islam Ota", and "Koylik Ota" mosques will be temporarily closed.

It is emphasized that these measures are aimed at creating a safe environment for citizens attending Eid prayers and regulating traffic flow. In this regard, drivers are advised to take the traffic changes into account in advance.
