Entrance to Victory Park in Tashkent to be temporarily restricted

Victory Park in Tashkent will have temporary access restrictions as preparations begin for the May 9th Day of Remembrance and Honour. From April 25th to May 1st, entry to the State Museum of Glory will be suspended, though the park grounds will remain accessible. Full closure of the memorial complex and museum is scheduled for May 6th to May 8th to ensure the high-level organization of holiday events.
Preparations for May 9 — Remembrance and Honor Day have commenced at Victory Park in Tashkent. In connection with the upcoming holiday, landscaping work and the installation of new expositions are currently underway.
Due to these processes, admission to the State Museum of Glory will be temporarily suspended from April 25 to May 1. However, the park grounds will remain open to visitors during this period.
Furthermore, entry to both the Victory Park memorial complex and the museum will be fully restricted from May 6 to May 8.
According to official reports, these restrictions are being implemented to ensure the organization of holiday events at a high level.
