Former US President Donald Trump has suggested on his Truth Social network that the Gaza Strip could be taken over by the US after the end of the military conflict between Israel and Gaza.
According to Trump's plan, Palestinians will be relocated to safe and convenient areas, where modern housing will be built. According to him, this will give Palestinians "the opportunity to live a safe, happy and free life."
Gaza reconstruction plan
Trump plans to rebuild Gaza as "one of the largest and most prestigious development projects" in the United States, working with "the best construction experts in the world." He emphasized that American troops will not be allowed into the territory.
Israel and Trump's Position
Earlier, Trump had proposed that the United States take control of Gaza and expel all Palestinians from the territory. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu supported the idea, saying that "such an approach could serve to establish peace in the Middle East." Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
