UK Media Reports Possible End Date for the Russia-Ukraine War
The British newspaper Daily Mail has reported that former U.S. President Donald Trump has devised a plan to end the war in Ukraine. According to sources, Trump aims to convince Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to agree to a ceasefire with Russia by Easter.

Political and diplomatic circles are allegedly discussing a plan to halt Russian advances, ban Ukraine from joining NATO, and require Kyiv to recognize Russia’s annexed territories.

Additionally, Ukrainian forces would have to withdraw from Russia’s Kursk region, while European troops (possibly including British forces) would monitor a demilitarized zone. U.S. troops would not be involved. The European Union is expected to contribute $486 billion towards Ukraine’s reconstruction.

The peace process, as per reports, would begin with a phone call between Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin in early February, followed by a face-to-face meeting in March, and a formal ceasefire declaration by May 9.

However, Zelensky’s office has denied the existence of such a plan, with Ukrainian officials calling the reports “unfounded rumors.” Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak dismissed the news as "misinformation."
