An Israeli rabbi wants Arabs to rule the Jewish state

Israeli Rabbi Dov Lando has called for the restoration of Arab rule over the Jewish state. The Jerusalem Post reports.

The rabbi, recalling the past, defended Arab rule over Israel:

“You can live well with the Arabs without a state. It would be great if the Arabs ruled here; the best case scenario is that if the Arabs rule, they will respect them (the Zionists), not interfere with them, and bring money into the country - after all, the Arabs love money,” he said.

According to Lando, if the Jews had obeyed King Faisal correctly more than 90 years ago, the conflict would not have happened.

“If the Arabs had been treated like this, the situation would have been different. They made the Arabs hate us. "Never before has there been so much hatred of the Arabs in the world. One day it will stop; they cannot be trusted anymore; perhaps they could make great concessions. I don't know what to say, I don't know politically, you shouldn't talk about what you don't understand," the rabbi insisted.

Another rabbi asked him, "Has studying the Torah saved Israel from the Arabs?" The unfamiliar rabbi spoke of many young men who were "sacrificing their lives" and dying "in defense of the people and the homeland."

Landau responded by saying that these young men were dying because their (religious Zionist) rabbis taught them "a misinterpreted Torah."
