Trump: I imposed record import tariffs on China

US President Donald Trump announced that he had imposed tariffs on $600 billion worth of imports from China, more than any other American leader has ever imposed.

"I have imposed $600 billion in very significant tariffs on China. No other president has imposed this much," he told reporters at the White House.

On Thursday, China's Ministry of Commerce said Washington's actions were "a typical display of unilateralism and protectionism." He also called on the US to return to the right track of the multilateral trading system and abandon the "zero sum game" mentality. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
