The President of Argentina presented Elon Musk with a golden chain saw

Argentine President Javier Milley presented Elon Musk with a gold-plated chainsaw at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Maryland, USA. Musk called it a “saw for bureaucracy.”

The chainsaw blade is engraved with the slogan “Viva la libertad, carajo,” which literally means “Long live freedom, damn it!” The Argentine president used the phrase as a slogan in the 2021 parliamentary elections and the 2023 presidential election.

The Argentine president's office says the chainsaw is a replica of the one hanging in Milley's office. He himself carried a chainsaw to rallies during his campaign to demonstrate his desire to reduce government spending.

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), headed by Elon Musk, is currently working on "dismantling the government bureaucracy." In essence, this means cutting funding and staffing for various federal agencies. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
