The famous Belgian actor Jean-Claude Van Damme has been investigated in a criminal case related to human trafficking. He is accused of using the sexual services of five Romanian women. This was reported by the Romanian publication Hotnews.
Details of the accusation
The lawyer of one of the victims, Adrian Cuculis, filed a complaint with the Romanian Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Terrorism. It alleges that Van Damme had relations with five Romanian women who were forced into sexual exploitation.
According to the indictment, the events took place about 10 years ago in Cannes, France. The lawyer said that the witnesses in the case have evidence that confirms Van Damme's participation in these events.
"Jean-Claude Van Damme is accused of simultaneously using the sexual services of five vulnerable Romanian girls," said lawyer Adrian Kukulis.
Human trafficking and the main accused
According to the investigation, the selection of the girls for Van Damme was organized by Morel Bolia, the head of the non-profit organization EuroDemos and the Kasta Morrely modeling agency.
Morel Bolia was arrested in 2022 as the main suspect in the case of exploitation of minors. According to the Romanian prosecutor's office, from 2000 to 2016, he involved girls, including minors, in "sexual exploitation through psychological pressure" through his organizations.
The investigation is ongoing, and Van Damme's official position has not yet been announced.
This case is another clear example of the fight against human trafficking in Romania, as law enforcement agencies are stepping up efforts to bring those involved in this crime to justice. Follow “Zamin” news on “Telegram”
