
The number of flights between Uzbekistan and China is set to increase, nova24.uz reports, citing Uzbekistan Airports.
Uzbekistan held talks with China Southern Airlines, which is considering raising flight frequency to 7 times a week on existing routes.
Currently, the airline operates 4 flights per week from Tashkent to Beijing and 5 to Urumqi.
Uzbekistan Airports has also proposed new routes to Chinese cities from the airports of Fergana, Andijan, and Namangan.
For reference, Centrum Air recently announced direct flights between Tashkent and Tel Aviv twice a week using Airbus A320 aircraft.
