Trump: U.S. Earning Up to $3B a Day from Tariffs

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the country earns $2–3 billion daily from newly imposed import tariffs, bfm.ru reported.

Speaking to journalists aboard Air Force One, Trump said:

– The tariff situation is very good. Inflation is going down, Americans have more money, and so does the country. In recent weeks, we’ve been making 2 to 3 billion dollars a day, – he said.

According to Trump, the policy is proving effective in curbing inflation and increasing state revenues.
