Ukraine and US sign mineral cooperation memorandum

Ukraine and the US have signed a memorandum confirming their intent to finalize a resource agreement, interfax.ru reported.

Ukraine’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko stated that this is a step toward a strong economic partnership.

The next steps involve finalizing the agreement text, signing, and ratifying it through the parliaments of both countries.

Previously, US President Donald Trump said the agreement on rare earth minerals would be signed on April 24. Earlier talks in March had stalled amid disagreements between Trump and Zelensky. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
