The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand has officially announced the launch of a new electronic system for entering the country. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It is noted that starting from May 1, 2025, all foreign citizens visiting Thailand will be required to obtain an electronic entry card (Thailand Digital Arrival Card, TDAC). This electronic card must be issued 3 days before arrival in the country through a special online platform.
“In this regard, we ask all Uzbek citizens planning to visit Thailand to take these changes into account and follow the established procedure,” the ministry’s appeal says.
For your information, starting July 15, 2024, the government of the Kingdom of Thailand officially introduced a visa-free entry regime for citizens of 93 countries of the world, including Uzbekistan, for stays of up to 60 days.
Now, along with visa-free travel, it is also required to fill out an electronic entry card in advance. By completing this process in a timely manner, delays and inconveniences when crossing the country’s border can be avoided. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
