For the first time in a decade, Ukraine has sentenced a serial killer. According to UPL.uz, the National Police concluded an investigation confirming the guilt of an Uzbek citizen in a series of brutal murders.
Between 2018 and 2024, the man killed 11 people — eight men and three women. He befriended his victims, earned their trust, and often spent time drinking with them. Once they let their guard down, he murdered them by strangling or hitting them with a stone. He would then steal their money, jewelry, and other valuables.
One of the most shocking crimes was the stabbing of a flower shop employee in Kyiv's Holosiiv district — she was stabbed 34 times. That murder led investigators to the suspect, and evidence linked him to additional killings.
As a result, the Uzbek man was sentenced to life in prison. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
