Donald Trump plans to submit a request to Congress for $1.01 trillion in funding for national security for the 2026 fiscal year, reported Nova24.uz.
According to Bloomberg, the proposed funds would support the Golden Dome missile defense system, shipbuilding modernization, and nuclear infrastructure upgrades. The plan also includes a 3.8% salary increase for U.S. military personnel.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth noted that despite the record-breaking amount, the funds would be spent wisely — prioritizing security and readiness. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
