
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Russia is preparing for a new large-scale offensive. According to him, intelligence data shows that the Kremlin is hoping for a prolonged war and is ignoring diplomatic efforts. "I am confident that our partners have the same information," Zelensky said.
According to Ukraine’s military agencies, Russia is concentrating its military forces in areas near the Kharkiv region. This indicates plans for active offensive operations on a new section of the front.
Meanwhile, the U.S. government is discussing new sanctions against Russia. These sanctions aim to increase pressure on Moscow, especially in light of criticism against Ukraine under Donald Trump’s leadership and the failure of peace negotiations.
On the night leading into Tuesday, Russia launched an attack on Ukraine using 60 drones. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, 43 of them were neutralized — 35 were shot down in the air, and another 8 were redirected using electronic warfare systems. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, two civilians were reportedly injured.
Earlier, Zelensky had reported that over the past three nights, Russia had launched more than 900 drones into Ukrainian territory.
