Uzbekistanis killed in Dubai: Old feud ends in blood

A horrific stabbing incident in Dubai has caused public distress. In April, as a result of a conflict at a gas station in Dubai, two citizens of Uzbekistan lost their lives. This was reported by one of the local publications — Khaleej Times.

According to reports, the roots of this crime may lie in a previous personal disagreement. One of the victims came to the station to inflate tires and was suddenly attacked by a group. The second Uzbekistani, although he tried to escape from the scene, was quickly caught by another group and was also injured.

Immediately after the incident, a police officer nearby promptly reported the emergency to the center. In a short time, Dubai police completely secured the scene and began identifying the attackers through witness testimonies and surveillance camera recordings.

As a result of the investigation, 11 people suspected of involvement in the crime, including the main suspects, were detained. During questioning, they confirmed their involvement in the conflict. According to the prosecution, this conflict arose from personal animosity, and the victims and attackers had known each other before.

The Dubai prosecutor’s office continues its investigation into the incident. Legal measures will be taken and the criminals will certainly be punished. At present, all investigation materials have been fully handed over to the prosecutor’s office.

Police officials called on the public to remain calm, emphasizing that such cases are very rare in the emirate and that Dubai is still considered one of the safest cities in the world.

This terrible incident not only brought security issues in the country back into the spotlight but also became a painful lesson for Uzbek migrant workers living and working abroad. It once again reminded everyone that any personal conflict or past disagreements must be resolved peacefully and legally.
