Entry to Russia allowed without ruID registration

Entry to Russia will remain possible without digital registration via the ruID app, Kursiv.uz reported, citing the Russian Embassy in Uzbekistan.

According to the embassy, visa and e-visa entry rules remain unchanged. Submitting an application via ruID is voluntary and does not affect border crossing or result in denial of entry.

Earlier, Russia launched a mobile application called ruID for foreign citizens. It allows visa-free access, biometric registration, and digital profile creation for public services. However, registration in the app is optional. Read “Zamin” on Telegram!
