The drone attacks on Kharkiv carried out by the Russian army are becoming more intense, reports dw.com. As of 21:00 in the evening on Monday, July 7, the number of people injured as a result of the latest drone attacks in the city has reached 82, including eight children. According to the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, a 34-year-old woman was killed.
According to the prosecutor's office, the Russian Armed Forces struck Kharkiv twice — in the morning and in the afternoon — using “Geran-2” (Shahed) type drones. The attacks covered residential and civilian facilities in the Shevchenko, Kholodnogorsky, and Slobidsky districts of the city.
In the past month, the security situation in Kharkiv has sharply deteriorated. On June 7, about 50 drones, two missiles, and four aerial bombs were dropped on the city. According to Ukrainian authorities, three people died as a result of these attacks, and dozens of civilians were injured. After a month, the threat of drones has only increased, and it is emphasized that the city's infrastructure has suffered serious damage.
Officials state that in the latest attacks, residential buildings and residential areas were mainly targeted. The presence of children and women among the victims further increases the seriousness of the situation. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
