A powerful explosion in one of Pakistan’s largest cities — Karachi, has caused widespread concern among local residents. According to reports, the tragedy occurred at a warehouse storing fireworks products. The incident claimed the lives of two people, while at least 34 others sustained various injuries.
During the accident, a strong blast took place inside the warehouse, followed by a massive fire. The flames spread rapidly, completely destroying the stored goods. Nearby houses, shops, and several vehicles were also damaged.
Dozens of fire trucks and ambulance teams rushed to the scene immediately after the blast. Rescuers worked for hours to bring the fire under control and transport the injured to hospitals.
The area of the explosion was fully cordoned off for safety, and traffic was temporarily halted. Authorities have formed a special commission to investigate the exact causes of the tragedy.
