On the morning of September 3, Russian troops launched another strike on the city of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region. According to official data, at least nine people were killed, and seven more citizens were injured to varying degrees, Ukrinform reported.
Vadim Filashkin, head of the regional military administration, stated that the city was shelled by barrel artillery this morning. As a result, eight people aged 44 to 74 died, and six were injured. It was reported that two apartment buildings, a private residence, a shop, a shopping center, and five pavilions in the market were damaged by the impact.
At the same time, it was noted that the enemy twice targeted civilian vehicles using FPV drones. As a result of these attacks, a 36-year-old woman was killed, and another person was injured.
According to the regional prosecutor's office, the victims were hit while in their homes, on the street, and inside a shop. Investigative actions are underway, and appraisal work is ongoing.
"Such attempts against civilians are not an isolated case - this is a deliberate, purposeful tactic. Please, protect yourself and your loved ones, evacuate as soon as possible," Vadim Filashkin said. His words were published via Telegram.
