According to the National Statistics Committee, in January–July 2025 more than 18.6 thousand citizens of Uzbekistan traveled to the Republic of Korea. Compared to the same period last year, this figure increased by 6.4 thousand people, or almost 52 percent.
The purposes of the trips were different, with tourism being the main direction. In the first seven months of this year the distribution was as follows:
- tourism – 12,836 people,
- visiting relatives – 3,734 people,
- studying – 1,789 people,
- business trip – 224 people,
- treatment – 33 people.
As can be seen, interest in Korea is growing year by year.
